‘Harleen’ Giselle is here to stay

Hats off for ‘Love Aaj Kal team’! For successfully maintaining the secrecy of their Brazilian actress, till the release of the movie. The foreign gal was easily passed off as a Punjabi Kudi, Harleen Kaur, by the viewers. Though alien to Indian ways, Giselle Montario didn’t have much to talk in the movie. She had only two lines as her dialogue and mostly did her acting with her eyes. She is very proud that her eyes can speak for her. Also, a shy person in real, it helped Giselle a lot for playing the shy and silent character.

Giselle really enjoyed working for ‘Love Aaj Kal’. She is all praises for the director, Imtiaz Ali and considers Saif Ali Khan as a good human; both of whom were great help for her. The pretty girl speaks accented English and didn’t find difficult on-sets as everyone used to converse in English with her. Back in her hometown, she was always tagged as Indian because of her desi looks. In the film she was supposed to play the role of Jo, Saif’s foreign girlfriend but on suggestion from the director’s wife, Giselle landed in the role of Harleen.

Giselle is completely new to Bollywood but she is said to like Aamir Khan and loves his “kid movie” ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Because of the stupendous success of 'Love Aaj Kal', Giselle has attracted lot of offers. But the model-actress is taking it easy as of now and wants to maintain the image of innocent Harleen for some more time. As of now, she is getting ready to take on Hindi and dance classes.

Well, looks like Bollywood has added yet another foreign entrant to its fold. And we hope this foreign kudi is here to stay for good.
